The Mitchell Institute podcast, “Scholars Speak,” is back in 2023! In the first episode of the new year, host Michele Martin, the 1999 Mitchell Scholar from Scarborough High School, catches up with Amarinda Keys, the 2010 Scholar from Noble High School, Executive Director of the Children’s Discovery Museum of Central Maine — and, at the time of her appointment — the youngest executive director of a children’s museum in the world! Listen up as Keys, who graduated from Colby with a degree in Sociology, shares insights on how she leveraged internships at children’s museums in New Hampshire and Pittsburg into a career and why it’s important to “take the time when you’re in school to explore what’s of interest to you outside the classroom.” Learn more about the Children's Discovery Museum of Central Maine: https://www.childrensdiscoverymuseum.org/
